Gentle Yoga ~ In-Person

Betsy’s Gentle Yoga uses a flowing asana practice and intentional breathing along with moments of meditation to invite a tranquil mind. Her inspired teaching is a transformational combination of movement prayer and inner reflection inside a field of non-judgment. Betsy’s confidence in her students’ ability to move and to grow helps them believe in themselves. Open to all levels, abilities, and special needs.

  • Bring a yoga mat, blanket(s), two blocks, and a strap.

Gentle Yoga PLUS kicks up the challenge just a bit focusing on core strength while increasing flexibility, balance, and physical confidence. Join Betsy for this gentle but potent practice and build your inner and outer strength. Open to all levels.

  • If possible, bring your own yoga mat, blanket(s), blocks, and a strap. The Legion Hall does provide mats, blankets, and a limited number of yoga blocks.

Level I/II Hatha Yoga with Charlene challenges the mind to stay focused in the present moment through a moderately vigorous physical practice combined with breath and moments of inner reflection. Her fun, personalized approach connects to each student, inspiring their best selves.  Open to beginners and experienced yogis.

  • There are no props available at this location. Please bring your yoga mat, blanket(s), two blocks, and a strap.
  • We prefer all our in-person Yogis to be fully vaccinated and boosted. Masks are optional during the practice.

Charlene’s Level I Hatha Yoga class focuses on physical alignment, activating the deep core muscles, and mindful awareness throughout the practice. This class teaches the basics of each pose, how to incorporate the breath and build stamina. As the class progresses Charlene will add options for taking postures into fuller and deeper expressions. Open to beginners as well as experienced yogis.

Join Betsy and Charlene for a blissful, stress-reducing afternoon of Restorative Yoga. This serene, meditative practice uses blankets, blocks, and chairs to hold the body in deeply comfortable postures creating complete physical and mental relaxation. Come treat yourself to the gift of deep peace and inner tranquility. All levels, body types, and special needs are invited.

Please bring the following props:

  • Your yoga mat, minimum 1 yoga blanket (bring 2 if possible), blocks, and strap
  • Optional: Eye pillow, shawl or extra blanket for warmth
  • Additional props will be provided

Join the Yoga Study Circle taught by Betsy Ceva in-person or on Zoom and be inspired to take your understanding of yoga to a deeper level. Yoga Study Circle classes will include lectures, readings, and discussions centered on yoga philosophy and other fascinating yoga topics. The Yoga Study Circle is open to everyone! No previous experience or special knowledge is needed.
